“….We work with NOLA Lending’s closing department on a regular basis and I can say that each time we have one of their closings, their response time in approving settlement statements, getting us closing documents, and funding the loan is done quickly and in a timely manner, allowing us to get documents/settlement statement to the customer before their closing date/time and issue checks to the sellers/agents immediately following the closing. By responding quickly, it allows our staff to have everything ready in advance of the closing, which is a huge stress relief to our staff. NOLA Lending’s closing department is one we definitely enjoy working with! Having a smooth closing makes the home buying process a more enjoyable one, something NOLA lending delivers!!!

Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity International program that encourages women to make a difference by building homes and communities. The program seeks to encourage women volunteers, without excluding men, to further the home-building mission of Habitat for Humanity and positively impact the lives of children by making home ownership a present reality for families.

Habitat for Humanity raised the walls on two homes on September 30th. Both of these homes were part of their 2011 Women Build. They had a Women Build committee, chaired by Dr. Karen Slaton, that helped to recruit volunteers and raise money. They successfully raised $49,500 through individual donations and corporate sponsorships. These funds are used to purchase construction materials for the two Women Build homes. During the month of October, Habitatot for Humanity had over 260 volunteers build with us onsite. For more information you can visit www.habitatstw.org/wb
