Originally from Gun Barrel City, TX, I am a Business Administration graduate of Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. I decided to attend Southwestern on a football scholarship where I Quarterbacked the football team to 3 consecutive conference championships while achieving my degree. In 2000, I graduated and moved to Louisiana for a job offer and ended up meeting my future bride!

My wife Ainsley was a realtor at the time we met so I was able to see the flip side of the financial transaction. I learned firsthand the frustrations that Realtors have with the average lender. In addition to that I was able to learn the frustrations of the consumer as well. This insight combined with the years of experience in the financial services industry has allowed me to become an industry leader.

I was fortunate enough to live and work in New Orleans area until Katrina. After the storm, for different promotions within the same company, we moved to Indianapolis and then Baltimore. A few kids later, we decided it was time to move back home! Ainsley and I now have 3 children, a boy and 2 girls. My family is my life. I do nothing to jeopardize the safety and security of my family. That is why I have based my business and success on solid ethics, word of mouth testimonials, and referrals. My wife, Tippy, and I have been married for over 8 years and are blessed to have a 3 year old son.  We enjoy spending time with family and friends, fishing, our community, and attending Saints and LSU football games.

Born in Lafayette, Louisiana and raised in Mandeville, Louisiana, I have been a resident of the greater New Orleans area my entire life. I am huge sports fan and love being involved in the community. In college I was a member of Phi Mu Sorority along with other organizations. Upon graduation from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Business, I moved to New Orleans to be closer to my husband that was playing baseball for Tulane at the time. I worked at a local business where I was in day to day contact with thousands of people. I soon learned that I wanted to help others in some way all the while remaining local. I became enthralled with the mortgage industry once my husband and I started looking into purchasing a home. Everyone we spoke to about buying a home referred us to NOLA Lending. I am 1999 graduate of LSU and remain a loyal fan of all sports.  Earning my degree in Pre-Physical Therapy, I worked as an athletic trainer with the football team and ladies tennis team.  An opportunity provided by a friend to learn the mortgage lending business, prompted my move to New Orleans in 2001.  As the 7^th child in a family of 10, I knew I could do whatever it took to be successful.  I quickly learned all aspects of the business from the bottom up.  I am a member of the Krewe of Endymion, The Freret Neighborhood Association & Neighborhood Housing Services and have received the designation of Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist. I was raised in Mandeville, Louisiana where I attended Mandeville High School. After graduation, I moved to Oxford, Mississippi where I attended the University of Mississippi, majoring in Marketing in the College of Business Administration. While attending Ole Miss I was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and have become a lifetime member of the Ole Miss Alumni Association.  After completing my degree, I moved to Jackson, Mississippi to start my career in the lending industry where I immediately fell in love. After working for a large financial company for over 2 years and getting married, my husband and I decided to relocate back to Mandeville to be closer to family. While enjoying being back in my hometown, I worked in banking as the branch manager, but all the while missing the lending industry. When given the opportunity to make the move back into lending, there was no hesitation to become part of NOLA Lending Group. To me, it’s about helping people, whether it’s assisting them buy a home or refinance one loan at a time; I strive to do what’s best for my clients. I am a 2005 biological sciences graduate of Our Lady of Holy Cross College. I was part of the Tri Bea Honor Society, Big Brother Big Sister of Louisiana and the Rotary Club. I am currently a member of the young leadership council and junior league of New Orleans.

Shortly after I graduating took a job in Pensacola Florida working for Team Enterprise USA as part of Miller Brewing Company Sales Team. I later moved to Monroe Louisiana to work for RJ Reynolds also as a marketing representative. Working for these two reputable companies has giving me the foundation to build strong relationships and ability to overcome any challenge presented to me.

I moved back to my native town, New Orleans in 2009. Soon after returning home I joined the NOLA team which was the best decision I could have made. I was born and raised in Ocean Springs, MS and spent my high school years in Vancleave, MS.  I attended the University of Southern Mississippi, on both an academic and leadership scholarships, where I obtained a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry.  I am also a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and Phi Theta Kappa honors fraternity.

 Upon college graduation in 2007, a chain of events through circumstance and association led me to a position with one of the largest financial institutions in the country.  There, I was able to learn the realm of finance, credit, and mortgages.  I was promoted several times, and experienced great success when I was recruited by NOLA Lending Group.  I welcomed the move to New Orleans, as my family has lived here for over 15 years.

I have lived in New Orleans, Louisiana all of my life except for a short time after Hurricane Katrina.  My roots are here…I grew up here, I went to school here, all my friends and family are here.  I met my husband and raising my two beautiful kids in the heart of New Orleans.  I am very familiar with the area and the unique needs and personalities of this wonderful city!
